Let’s Get Real 4 Report – What’s the story?

Published in May 2016

The Phase 4 project, ran from April 2015 to December 2015 and involved 30 art and heritage organisations including 4 from North America. The project explored ways participants could use a range of digital storytelling strategies and formats to engage audiences.

Fit for China

Published in March 2016

This report explores what is needed to develop new online audiences for UK art and heritage content for Chinese audiences. The report was commissioned and published by The British Council, and formed part of the Fit for China pilot project which Culture24 ran in 2016/17 in partnership with The British Council, Storythings and 10 UK arts and heritage organisations.

Let’s Get Real 3 Report – Is your content fit for purpose?

In Phase 3 Culture24 brought together 29 partner cultural organisations who worked together over a period of ten months from April 2014 to November 2014 to explore ways to shape their digital content to become more relevant to audiences.

Let’s Get Real 2 Report – A journey to understanding and measuring digital engagement

Phase 2 of the Let’s Get Real action research project, led by Culture24 and involving 22 participating arts and heritage organisations collaborating over an eleven month period, explored what digital engagement could mean for them and how to understand audience needs online.

Let’s Get Real 1 Report – How to Evaluate Online Success

Published in September 2011

This is the report from Culture24′s first Let’s Get Real collaborative action research project which took place from June 2010 to September 2011, and was a collaboration with 17 arts and heritage organisations.

Developing effective ways to define, measure and evaluate the success of online activities is an issue faced by all parts of the cultural sector. Organisations regularly invest in cultural websites, social media activities and online services without a clear idea of what these services are trying to achieve, or their intended audience. This project sought to explore these challenges further and suggest ways forward.
